A recognized sales management professional with a solid reputation for developing extraordinary customer relationships, Dave Pidgeon offers a unique blend of sales executive acumen, dynamic team leadership, and strategic vision credited with consistently delivering strong, measurable results. Dave currently oversees and manages all National Accounts on the West Coast on behalf of Brooklyn Outdoor with some of his largest clients being Amazon, Red Bull, Safeway, AT&T, Universal Music Group, ABC Entertainment, HBO, Verizon Wireless, just to name a few. With well over 14 years of professional sales management experience, Dave first entered the sales arena as Conference Planner at the Cheyenne Mountain Conference Resort and was quickly sought out by Forest Pharmaceuticals where he outpaced his colleagues, becoming known for a unique ability to gain exclusive access to hard-to-see physicians. Dave maintained sales performance rankings within the top 10% of over 600+ employees and was awarded “Sales Representative of the Quarter” multiple quarters, just to gain the same awards and notoriety next at MedPointe Pharmaceuticals where he was moved into management by greatly exceeding all performance requirements.
As the pharmaceutical industry began to change and experience drastic regulatory changes, an opportunity in the Out-of-home industry presented itself and Dave never looked back. As VP of Sales with Seattle-based wallscape company, Fourpoints Communications, in June of 2006 and no contacts or leads in the industry, Dave quickly built a database of National Media Buyers and and Agencies across the country. With extreme focus and determination, he averaged over two million in sales annually, breaking the record year after year. In 2010, along with maintaining his successful role as VP of Sales for Four Points, his experience and relationships with national media buying agencies across the country afforded Dave an opportunity to start his own Out-of-Home sales company, Stellar Outdoor. Within six months of starting Stellar, he had secured brokering agreements to represent three privately held companies. Over the following year and a half, Dave secured just shy of one million dollars of business with Stellar while only managing west coast agencies.
In February 2012, Total Outdoor acquired Fourpoints of which Dave was brought on to manage national accounts across the country, but asked that he set his Stellar business aside. Over the next 11 months, he exceeded more record breaking sales goals: 2nd highest in 2012 sales revenue, 1st in Q4-12 sales revenue, and most 2013 business booked by close of business 2012. Within a week of leaving Total Outdoor in 2013, Dave revived his Stellar business to partner with Brooklyn Outdoor where he is dominating the West Coast yet again bigger and better than ever.
