Katherine Vanderbush has almost 12 years experience in the Out-of-Home industry. She first served as a marketing director for five years at
Adspace Digital Mall Network. It was there that she learned and developed her knowledge and passion for the advertising industry, specifically Out-of-Home and Digital Out-of-Home. Katherine not only handled all marketing and promotional materials and responsibilities including, but not limited to trade advertising for the network, but also spear headed several research projects, including two Nielsen measurement studies. In addition to her responsibilities as marketing director, she had the opportunity to work with all clients on their campaigns and establish the positive rapport with them that she carries through to today. She handled all events including trade shows conferences, and client events, thus beginning to create her extensive network of contacts throughout the industry.
After Adspace Digital Mall Network and due to her large client database, Katherine moved into a sales role with Starlite Media. Throughout her tenure at Starlite, she brought in revenue of almost $3 million annually, becoming the highest billing sales executive in the company three years in a row. With each passing year, her sales grew rapidly along with her customer base and client reach. During the last year of her employment with Starlite, she was promoted to the Executive Director of National Sales. In this role, she was responsible for leading the sales team in generating advertising sales and business growth. Her responsibilities included collaboration with the CMO and CEO to present creative, out-of-the box proposals to top tier clients in order to generate revenue growth. She also implemented internal reporting and forecasting systems,while streamlining operations and financial reporting. Her top priority was to prospect new business and manage existing business with top ad agencies, as well as blue chip, fortune 500 clients.
In 2014, Katherine brings her experience and wealthy network of contacts to her partnership with Brooklyn Outdoor representing both clients
direct and National agency clients on the East Coast. Some of Katherine’s largest clients include Pepsi, Nestle, NBC, American Express, Microsoft, Google, etc. She is renewed and ready to take the East Coast by storm as she continues to build her network and continue to increase sales revenues nationally. Katherine’s energy and drive toward personal excellence has made her a force to be reckoned with in the industry and a joy to have as a partner.
